ANGEL

Stars glow out across the snow,
Wonder if you’ll ever know.
Tree spread out against the sky,
Mother nature starts to cry,
Father time can only sigh,
As the sun rises red for a sailor morning.

The moon now is our only hope,
Wonder how on Earth you’ll cope.
Soon branches will be licked with fire,
All wants replaced with one desire,
These wings will take me higher and higher,
As the sun comes roaring in for a pirate morning.

Beyond the atmosphere the air is clear,
Wondered if you escaped the auctioneer,
Then you could escape your body too,
And float above the trees fallen all askew,
But I saw you standing on the pier and I knew
As the sun rose red for your sailor morning.
